Ways to Sell
- Online Sales

- Be sure to provide “Scout Seller ID #” to get credit for the sale
- Door to Door Sales
- Ask neighbors to support Pack 180
- Pick a neighborhood and go door to door in your scout uniform
- Accept cash, check or personal Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Apple Cash
Why We Sell
For most Cub Scout Packs, Popcorn is Program and Pack 180 is no exception. Popcorn sales in September and October account for about 70 percent of the Pack’s annual budget and allow us to keep annual dues low while providing the best possible adventures for Scouts and their families.

- TBD – Official Popcorn Kickoff at Pack Meeting. Order Form Sales and Online Sales begin.
- TBD – Order Form Sales end. Order forms due to Kernel by midnight. Online sales continue.
- TBD – Kernel will attempt to fill all order form orders early using current inventory

Prizes and Awards
- Participation Gift Card and sales patch for each scout that sells popcorn
- Cash prize for top 3 selling individual scouts
- Pizza party prize to top selling den
- Shop the prize catalog based on a scout’s total sale
Tips for Scouts
- Wear your uniform shirt while selling popcorn door-to-door or at an event.
- Rehearse your sales speech, start selling early and always be polite!
- Know your products before you go out.
- Remember to ask for a pack donation if someone isn’t interested in popcorn.
- Don’t enter a stranger’s home and don’t sell after dark.
- Don’t carry large amounts of cash.
- Don’t leave popcorn unless it’s paid for.
Tips for Parents
- All checks should be made out to Pack 180.
- Personal Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Apple Cash or other digital payments can also be accepted and then reimbursed to the Pack via check or cash.
- Use social media accounts and email to boost online sales.
