Scouts, start your engines!

It’s nearly time for the 2024 Pack 180 Pinewood Derby!

(OK, technically, there won’t be any engines. But you get the idea.)

We’ll be racing Saturday morning, Feb. 10, with weigh-in beginning at 8:30 a.m. and racing at 9:30 a.m. until the winners are crowned.

Each den will compete with the winners advancing to an all-Pack runoff for the top prizes.

Derby reminders

• Due to the finish-line timer, cars can NOT BE TALLER than 5 1/2 inches with the wheels installed.
• You cannot change the location of the wheelbase on the car
• DO NOT cut through the width of the wheelbase, as the car will not fit on the track
• And your car must weigh 5 oz or less.

Family/Sibling Race: Wheelbase rule does NOT apply. Cars must still weight no more than 5oz. and not be taller than 5 1/2 inches.
