Scouting for Food

For the second year, Pack 180 will go Scouting for Food.

During November, Scouts distribute bags with notes to let their neighbors know about the food drive. Scouts then return a week or two later to pick up the bags filled with canned goods, cereal, pasta and other nonperishable items.

Items collected by Pack 180 will support the NNEMAP food ministry, a cooperative ministry of over 30 churches distributing food and material assistance to residents of the near north side of Columbus.

How you can help

Please sign up to pass out bags for Scouting for Food. Please sign up for a street to pass out bags and pick up food. We’ve included the streets within the Tremont School District. We encourage scouts to cover their own streets and any additional they want to cover.

We will have more details upcoming on how to obtain the bags and the flyers.

If you have any questions please reach out to Matt Billman (Mattbillman@gmail.com) or 614-519-6539.

Thanks for your help!
